Random Ramblings !

Standing at the edifice of buried memories,
A feeling blank yet painful haunts her back,
Memories that were wrapped up in quiet sobs,
Have been brought back to life,
A life that was once the sweetest of grapes,
Could not have gone so sour,
A friend whom she called my own,
Stabbed in her back,
Little did she know that jokes of his first crush,
could come back like a boomerang,
To crash the home that was like a castle in the air,
Love in its myriad forms,
Shares hopes for a better tomorrow to one,
Yet snatches away the peace within from the other,
The journey during the rocky times,
Can be easily foregone for a rosy future,
How relationships transform with the blink of an eye,
Knows she not how to erase this from the sands of time,
If only she could once turn back time,
To ask him for the last time,
Why was she the chosen one ?
Will she get the response,
Is a question beyond oblivion,
Yet she believes that this too shall pass,
With rosy dreams for a wonderful tomorrow,
That lies ahead.

PS: This was just a random post with no semblance to anybody alive or dead :) Trying my luck at some asymmetric poetry :D

Why does asymmetry often translate into being heartbroken. Though a feature worthy of praise is how you moulded her confusion and ingrained it with hope of the coming day and the rosy dreams of future, but still its weird that we often think dark when we try to think different. Maybe too much of it lays latent inside us all.
